ThermoLync is an independent engineering consultancy specializing in ground-source heat exchange (GSHE) systems.
We help owners, architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and public agencies evaluate, design, construct, and verify geothermal systems.
Our work is focused on the ground side of geothermal projects—where subsurface conditions, thermal properties, drilling methods, borehole construction, piping, hydraulics, and field installation directly affect project cost and performance.
Our Approach
A successful geothermal system starts with understanding the ground.
We combine geothermal engineering with experience in geotechnical and underground engineering to help project teams address subsurface uncertainty early, select appropriate drilling and loop-field strategies, and develop designs that can be successfully constructed in the field.
Our involvement can range from a focused technical review or site visit to full GSHE design and construction support.
Jerry Wang, PhD, PE, CGD*
Jerry Wang is the founder and principal of ThermoLync LLC. He is a Professional Engineer and Certified GeoExchange Designer with more than two decades of experience in geothermal, geotechnical, and underground engineering.
Jerry has contributed to more than 30 geothermal projects involving schools, municipalities, commercial buildings, and other large facilities across the Northeast.
